The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (Ch 16-17) – Children’s Living Room

March 3 10:45 - 11:30 am  |  The Edge

The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe is the first of a seven-book series entitled The Chronicles of Narnia. Written by C.S. Lewis, it transports us to the extraordinary land of Narnia—a land inhabited by a good lion, an evil witch, the kingdoms they rule, and the inevitable battle between them.

Throughout the book Lewis vividly illustrates key Biblical truths through the creative interaction of Narnia’s inhabitants and four quite ordinary children who unexpectedly find themselves caught up in its unfolding drama!

Each week I’ll begin by reading 2-3 chapters from The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (maybe even with voices!!), and then will lead a brief discussion of the truths they illustrate. Other activities may also be planned as time permits (for instance, when’s the last time you’ve eaten Turkish Delight?!).

ALL Explorer’s age or older children (including young adults who want to be children again! 😉) are encouraged to come! You’ll never look into a wardrobe the same way again… 😊
